If I had to guess (which, well, of course I do), I’d say that this is probably a reference to Charlie St. Cloud, especially since we know that there’s a “Heather” who’s allegedly a childhood friend of Stiles’s, though we’ve never heard of her before, and I’m pretty sure that shot of Stiles and the maybe-Heather blonde girl in the wine cellar(?) was from the second episode.
My guess? Stiles is having contact with a) a ghost or b) some sort of astral projection, and/or that he has to make a choice between a normal life or sticking with Scott (who is, let’s be real here, the closest thing Stiles has to a brother).

That could be it.
…But no, it’s probably the gold course dance number.
That’s probably it.
